A couple of days ago the world witnessed one of the worst terrorist attacks of all times where over two hundred people were held hostage in the legendary Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai, India and over hundreds were killed in the aftermath. Ein paar Tage vor der Welt erlebt eine der schlimmsten Terroranschläge aller Zeiten, wo mehr als zweihundert Menschen wurden als Geiseln in der legendären Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai, Indien und über Hunderte wurden in der Folge ums Leben.

One of the interesting observation regarding this incident was the fact that the terrorists used BlackBerry smartphones to monitor the world's response in real-time after all the cables to the hotel were cut down. Eine der interessantesten Beobachtungen zu diesem Vorfall war die Tatsache, dass die Terroristen verwendet BlackBerry-Smartphones, um die weltweite Reaktion in Echtzeit zu überwachen, nachdem alle Kabel, um das Hotel wurden abgeholzt.

Even though iPhone was launched in India earlier in August this year, it still doesn't seem to have become an integral part of the mobile communication system. Auch wenn das iPhone in Indien wurde bereits im August in diesem Jahr, es immer noch nicht zu haben scheinen ein fester Bestandteil des mobilen Kommunikations-System.

Blackberry still leads the market share with over twice the percentage of the iPhone and is still known to be more user-friendly and feature enrich. As the technology evolves, it will surely bring new horrors and disasters like it always has. Da die Technologie sich entwickelt, wird es sicher bringen neue Schrecken und Katastrophen wie es immer getan hat.

After all, terrorists make use of technology too. Immerhin machen die Terroristen Einsatz von Technologie zu.

  • I don't think criticizing on technology would help us solve the matter. Ich glaube nicht, kritisiert der Technologie würde uns helfen, die Angelegenheit zu lösen. As for the Apple, to me i think Apple is one of the best popular brand around and to compete and to stabilize themselves with the market's ups and downs they must have to consider adding features which helps in term of usability and of course being an eye-candy as well. Wie für den Apple, die ich mir denken, dass Apple eines der besten und beliebtesten Marke um zu konkurrieren und sich mit Höhen des Marktes und Tiefen stabilisieren sie müssen bis zum Hinzufügen von Funktionen, die im Begriff der Usability und prüfen, hilft es natürlich, "ein Auge -candy auch.

    Don't ever claim you are a Muslim or that you know anything about Islam, if you still do, I would doubt your knowledge and/or interpretation of the Quran. Mach das nie behaupten, Sie sind ein Muslim oder dass Sie wissen, etwas über den Islam, wenn Sie noch tun, hätte ich Zweifel, Ihr Wissen und / oder die Auslegung des Koran. If you dont call them terrorists, then whatever you call those "things" that came by boat to Mumbai, are the curse of this planet.     If you think that spreading terror and killing innocent people is 'heroism' than not only them but even Bush is a hero. I would not comment further on this as my point basically was to only highlight the technology aspect of the Mumbai terror attacks and not turn this whole issue into a political debate.
