A couple of days ago the world witnessed one of the worst terrorist attacks of all times where over two hundred people were held hostage in the legendary Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai, India and over hundreds were killed in the aftermath. Een paar dagen geleden de wereld getuige van een van de ergste terreur aanslagen van alle tijden waar meer dan tweehonderd mensen werden gehouden in het legendarische Taj Mahal Hotel gijzeling in Mumbai, India en honderden werden gedood in de nasleep.

One of the interesting observation regarding this incident was the fact that the terrorists used BlackBerry smartphones to monitor the world's response in real-time after all the cables to the hotel were cut down. Een van de interessante opmerking over dit incident was het feit dat de terroristen gebruikt BlackBerry-smartphones van de reactie van de wereld in real-time volgen nadat alle kabels naar het hotel waren omgehakt.

Even though iPhone was launched in India earlier in August this year, it still doesn't seem to have become an integral part of the mobile communication system. Hoewel de iPhone werd gelanceerd in India eerder in augustus van dit jaar, het nog steeds niet lijkt te zijn een integraal onderdeel van het mobiele communicatiesysteem.

Blackberry still leads the market share with over twice the percentage of the iPhone and is still known to be more user-friendly and feature enrich. Blackberry leidt nog steeds het marktaandeel met meer dan het dubbele van het percentage van de iPhone en is nog steeds bekend als gebruikersvriendelijker en functie verrijken.

Apple needs to focus more on usability then merely on eye-candy and touch effects. Apple moet zich meer richten op bruikbaarheid dan louter op eye-candy en touch-effecten. As the technology evolves, it will surely bring new horrors and disasters like it always has. Aangezien de technologie evolueert, zal het zeker leiden tot nieuwe verschrikkingen en rampen, zoals het altijd is.

After all, terrorists make use of technology too. Immers, terroristen gebruik maken van de technologie ook.

  • I don't think criticizing on technology would help us solve the matter. Ik denk niet dat kritiek op de technologie zou ons helpen oplossen van de zaak. As for the Apple, to me i think Apple is one of the best popular brand around and to compete and to stabilize themselves with the market's ups and downs they must have to consider adding features which helps in term of usability and of course being an eye-candy as well. Wat voor de Apple, voor mij i think Apple is een van de meest populaire merk rond en om te concurreren en zich te stabiliseren met ups van de markt en downs zij moeten zijn tot het toevoegen van kenmerken die helpt in termen van usability en overwegen is natuurlijk een oog -candy ook.

This hotel was viper's nest of dirty espionage. Dit hotel was nest adder van vuile spionage.

  • Does it really matter what they used? Is het echt uit wat ze gebruikt? These killers killed innocent people. Deze moordenaars van onschuldige mensen gedood. It shows that with advanced technology crime is easier to commit. Hieruit blijkt dat met geavanceerde technologie gemakkelijker is om misdaad te plegen. Look how these killers coordinated with each other. Kijk hoe deze moordenaars gecoördineerd met elkaar.

    Also you said "worst terrorist attacks of all times" no it wasn't the worst, the worst was in 9/11. Ook u zei: "ergste terreur aanslagen van alle tijden" nee het was niet het ergste, het ergste was in 9 / 11.

    Don't ever claim you are a Muslim or that you know anything about Islam, if you still do, I would doubt your knowledge and/or interpretation of the Quran. Don't ever claim je bent een moslim of dat je iets weten over de islam, als je nog steeds doen, zou ik twijfel uw kennis en / of de interpretatie van de koran. If you dont call them terrorists, then whatever you call those "things" that came by boat to Mumbai, are the curse of this planet. Als je niet noemen hen terroristen, dan wat u bellen die "dingen" die kwam met de boot naar Mumbai, de vloek van deze planeet. The biggest curse however consists of the group of people like you who support it and interpret it in your own way and think that what you conclude is final. De grootste vloek echter bestaat uit de groep van mensen zoals u die steunen en te interpreteren in je eigen manier en denk dat wat je concluderen is definitief.     If you think that spreading terror and killing innocent people is 'heroism' than not only them but even Bush is a hero. Als u denkt dat de verspreiding van terreur en het doden van onschuldige mensen is 'heidendom' dan niet alleen hen, maar zelfs Bush is een held. I would not comment further on this as my point basically was to only highlight the technology aspect of the Mumbai terror attacks and not turn this whole issue into a political debate. Ik wil niet verder ingaan op dit als mijn punt was eigenlijk om alleen wijzen op de technologie aspect van de terroristische aanslagen Mumbai en niet deze hele kwestie te zetten in een politiek debat.
