A couple of days ago the world witnessed one of the worst terrorist attacks of all times where over two hundred people were held hostage in the legendary Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai, India and over hundreds were killed in the aftermath. Um par de dias atrás, o mundo testemunhou um dos piores atentados terroristas de todos os tempos, onde mais de duas centenas de pessoas foram mantidas como reféns no lendário Taj Mahal Hotel em Bombaim, Índia e mais centenas foram mortos na sequência.

One of the interesting observation regarding this incident was the fact that the terrorists used BlackBerry smartphones to monitor the world's response in real-time after all the cables to the hotel were cut down. Um dos observação interessante sobre esse incidente foi o fato de que os terroristas smartphones BlackBerry usada para monitorar a resposta do mundo em tempo real, depois de todos os cabos para o hotel eram cortadas.

Even though iPhone was launched in India earlier in August this year, it still doesn't seem to have become an integral part of the mobile communication system. Blackberry still leads the market share with over twice the percentage of the iPhone and is still known to be more user-friendly and feature enrich. Apple needs to focus more on usability then merely on eye-candy and touch effects. A Apple precisa de se concentrar mais em usabilidade, em seguida, apenas no olho-doce e os efeitos do toque. As the technology evolves, it will surely bring new horrors and disasters like it always has. Como a tecnologia evolui, que certamente trará novos horrores e catástrofes, como sempre tem feito.

After all, terrorists make use of technology too. Afinal, os terroristas fazem uso da tecnologia também.

  • I don't think criticizing on technology would help us solve the matter. Eu não acho que criticar a tecnologia ajudaria a resolver a questão. As for the Apple, to me i think Apple is one of the best popular brand around and to compete and to stabilize themselves with the market's ups and downs they must have to consider adding features which helps in term of usability and of course being an eye-candy as well. Quanto à Apple, para mim, eu acho que a Apple é uma das marcas mais populares ao redor e para competir e para estabilizar-se no mercado com altos e baixos, devem ter em consideração características acrescentando que ajuda em termos de usabilidade e, claro, sendo um olho doces também.

    Don't ever claim you are a Muslim or that you know anything about Islam, if you still do, I would doubt your knowledge and/or interpretation of the Quran. Nunca dizer que você é um muçulmano, ou que você sabe nada sobre o Islã, se você ainda não, eu colocaria em dúvida o seu conhecimento e / ou interpretação do Alcorão. If you dont call them terrorists, then whatever you call those "things" that came by boat to Mumbai, are the curse of this planet.     If you think that spreading terror and killing innocent people is 'heroism' than not only them but even Bush is a hero. I would not comment further on this as my point basically was to only highlight the technology aspect of the Mumbai terror attacks and not turn this whole issue into a political debate.
