  • Seems to be good to be true but will signup and try it out !
  • It never fails to make me wonder on how they made money by offering unlimited this and that. Worth a sign-up though.

    Great find!
Something I've been looking for a while now.
    Thanks :)
  • You need to read the TOS, it isn't free...

Why anybody like me do this, I mean here in Pakistan? We dont have that huge bandwidth here yet to upload multi GB files, that will take ages. Secondly cant understand why someone would give away something like this for free?

    Whats the catch?
  • Actually its not all about the unlimited storage. Its about easy of use and various features that LiveDrive has to offer.

e.g. I find the interface quite good and friendly on my iPhone which now makes LiveDrive my top choice for saving files online. What we are looking for here is ease of use and ease of access as well.
  • I agree Saad. When i was trying to backup my data a few weeks I looked at atleast 8 different services and many of them didn't focus at all on the ease-of-use which made my pass them by.

I will definitely have to check out the LiveDrive, it looks very promising.

Thanks for the reply...I think I will have to try that live drive myself
  • Check out http://www.MyOtherDrive.com for an alternative to Microsoft's offering. They have online backup, 128-bit encryption, public and private file sharing.

Actually it's all earning revenue! Well we get our consideration for saving thousands of files. What they do is simply publish advertisement on their website. When people share files. Thousands of people download from their website. They earn money through Ads on CPC, CPM or CPA basis.

Take an example of Sizlopedia.com . It's owners/contributors make money by publishing Ads on CPM and CPC basis through Adsense and Tribal Fusion.
