iPhone is truly an amazing device for someone who is looking for a gadget to have all features in it such as a phone, a browser for desktop-like Internet browsing and an iPod. But what makes it look really bad is Apple's decision to lock the iPhone with AT&T so that consumers are unable to use it with any other carrier legally even after 2 years of its release.
In another recent event AT&T has added iPhone to its list of Refurbished Cell phones, selling the 8GB model for $99 and the 16GB model for $199.

While this may considerably increase projected sales as Analysts believe, but what Apple needs to realize at this point is that consumers are looking forward to a contract-free model of the iPhone (as promised by Apple) and simply offering them refurbished iPhones still in contract with AT&T, at a much cheaper price, isn't going to do the job.
As a matter of fact, users across the world (including me) would and have paid almost triple the amount to get an unlocked iPhone just so that we can use it with our local network service providers with ease.

Is that really true?

It will be cheap for average low income earners. Everyone should have a taste of the iPhone.
