I have tried a lot of remote software. I found UltraVLC, Logmein and many of the other well known software's to be a lot harder to user, although claiming they where much easier.

I run an online radio station and many of my presenters have had problems setting up Sam Broadcaster. In the past I didn't have a complete guide for SAM and found it hard to instruct them. A lot of the remote software I tried including UltraVNC and LogMein, didn't work too good and I couldn't connect to many of the presenters even with their firewalls down.

However I discovered TeamViewer. A small and easy to use remote application. You can install it as both a program or a service. Once my presenters had this small software on their PC, which was quick and easy for them to install and set up, I had no problem connecting, even with those who had a Firewall up. You need to know the IP the user gets from the software and he's predefined password, for security reasons. It also comes with a file transfer system. I also believe that when installed as a service, you can reboot computers using the software.
