While I know much of the enthusiastic crowd out there would have already taken the liberty to download the new build of Windows i.e. Windows 7 Beta from torrents. For others like me who prefer waiting for the official release, instructions and documentation, the good news is that Windows 7 Beta shall be available for download officially on Microsoft website in just a couple of minutes.

Windows 7 Beta was made available for download to TechNet and MSDN subscribers right after Steve Ballmer's keynote at CES 2009 but the official public beta is to be unveiled on Friday, Jan 9. In my part of the world, its Friday already so I guess its just a couple of more minutes till we get Windows 7 beta officially in our hands.

I am publishing this on a prior note because once the Windows 7 Beta download is officially up on the Microsoft website, it will be made available to only the first 2.5 million people who download the beta so make sure to get ready to download your copy as soon as you read this.
