Much of the buzz about Windows 7 these days involves appraisal for the new Windows 7 Superbar by the Windows community. The Superbar is basically a new taskbar designed for Windows 7 with new features, much innovative than the taskbar we have previously experienced in older versions of Windows. Apart from the amazing glass effects, transparency and application-specific background coloring, the Superbar also brings in new features such as 'Jump Lists' which pins all running instances of an application to its icon on the Superbar instead of opening them as separate tabs. Afgezien van de prachtige glas-effecten, transparantie en applicatie-specifieke achtergrond kleuren, de Superbar ook brengt nieuwe functies zoals 'Ga lijsten' die pinnen alle lopende gevallen van een aanvraag om het pictogram op de Superbar in plaats van ze te openen als aparte tabbladen.
While Microsoft might have introduced this new feature for more eye-candy, I personally find this feature annoying and confusing. A user like me would just want to handle the tasks the old-school way, instead of clicking on more options. So after a little peeking, I have finally discovered how to get the old-style taskbar in Windows 7. Dus na een beetje gluren, heb ik eindelijk ontdekt hoe de oude stijl taakbalk in Windows 7 te krijgen. Follow the steps to get the same for yourself. - Right click on Superbar and select 'Properties'. Klik met de rechtermuisknop op Superbar en selecteer 'Eigenschappen'.
- In the 'Taskbar' tab that opens in a popup, look for the label that says 'Taskbar buttons'.
