How to Preview Desktop in Windows 7 Hoe Preview bureaublad in Windows 7

windows7-desktop As I keep discovering the new Microsoft OS ie Windows 7, I find some of its feature really interesting and useful. Zoals ik houd het ontdekken van de nieuwe Microsoft besturingssysteem Windows 7 dus, vind ik sommige van haar functie erg interessant en nuttig.

One such feature is the Desktop Preview which allows users to temporarily minimize open windows by hovering the mouse on the far-end of the taskbar. Een van deze functie is de Desktop Preview waarmee gebruikers tijdelijk open vensters te minimaliseren door de muis over de ver-end van de taakbalk. This allows them to take a sneak-preview of the desktop without forcefully minimizing all open windows. Dit laat hen toe om een sneak-preview van de desktop zonder krachtig het minimaliseren van alle geopende vensters.

The reason I find this feature helpful is because at times you need to quickly view your desktop (eg to check for a file that you have recently downloaded etc) and this feature allows you to do so without minimizing all open windows. De reden waarom ik vind deze functie nuttig is, want soms moet je snel bekijken uw bureaublad (bijvoorbeeld om te controleren of een bestand dat u onlangs hebt gedownload, enz.) en deze functie kunt u doen zonder het minimaliseren van alle geopende vensters.

windows7-desktop-2 Some users might find this feature annoying as most old-school users would still prefer to fully switch to Desktop instead of just taking a preview. Sommige gebruikers kunnen vinden deze functie vervelend als de meeste oude school-gebruikers nog steeds de voorkeur om volledig over te schakelen naar desktop in plaats van alleen een voorbeeld nemen. For them, there is even an option to disable the 'Desktop Preview' feature. Voor hen is er zelfs een optie om de 'Desktop Preview' functie uit te schakelen.

Just right click on the far-end of the taskbar in Windows 7 and uncheck 'Preview Desktop' which should be checked by default. Gewoon rechts klikken op het verre einde van de taakbalk in Windows 7 en verwijder het vinkje 'Preview Desktop' die moet worden standaard aangevinkt.

    I guess it's like ctrl+alt+d in ubuntu, which minimizes/unminimizes all of your windows. Ik denk dat het zoals Ctrl + Alt + d in Ubuntu, die minimaliseert / unminimizes al uw vensters.
