I love twitter because i can update all my family and/or friends by just one text to update my status and all my friends get it. This way I don't have to send sms to a whole list of people.

I love twitter because it lets me connect to many sources that I couldn't have otherwise. Furthermore, micro-blogging allows me to reach more people than sms alone. Nut most of all, I find twitter to be more fun when used with your cell. (I used to in the UK and sorely miss it here!)

Just as a follow up to this. Now we have a new service to do the same. Simply SMS 'reg your_id your_password (twitter userid and password) to 03014402764 or 03314805098. Also it alllows users to receive updates, and not just send update.
