Google has released an update for the Google Toolbar for IE and what comes significantly new in this release is the Google Quick Search Box.
Recently, the Quick Search Box was released to Mac but now thanks to Google Toolbar 6 Beta, Windows users will be able to make use of this great tool too. Simply click on the Google logo in the taskbar (or use Ctrl+Space shortcut key) to bring up the quick search box.

The exceptionally cool feature of Quick Search Bar for Windows is that apart from providing a faster way to search the web, open webpages or find relevant bookmarks, it even allows you to launch Windows applications by just typing in their name.
The new toolbar also brings in the new tab page for IE users which gives you thumbnail access to your most visited websites, recently closed tabs and bookmarked pages (Just like in Google Chrome). This feature can be activated from within Toolbar settings menu.
Head over to Google and give it a go (Also make sure to visit this link from within IE)
