Since the release of the official App Store for iPhone, Game apps have been the most popular throughout and now the iPhone is known to be one of the most-excellent mobile gaming platforms ever.
But as the rumors for the next generation iPhone surface, another rumor about a Premium App Store for iPhone is also there to accompany it.
Of what's believed of it so far is that Apple needs to introduce a premium games marketplace for pro-vendors such as Electronic Arts and Activision where they can offer high-end games for the iPhone users at a price above $20 ranging up to $50.
Perhaps a reason for why Apple may be considering for a Premium App Store is because a normal user would never care to buy a Game app in the App Store if its priced above $15 or so. Also in case Apple is planning to release an iPhone this year with upgraded graphics and hardware, so we may be in treat for more than just a new App Store for iPhone.
It will not only help developers in getting the real price out of their high-end Game apps but will also help iPhone users in hunting down games from an inventory that is full of high-performance and premium apps. As for Apple, it will strengthen the future of iPhone as a competitive mobile gaming platform.
