Before I continue with the procedure, let me remind you folks that it is an advanced level hack so only proceed if you have a clever understanding of what you are doing. Installing iPhone 3.0 beta on the iPhone Instalación de iPhone 3.0 beta en el iPhone

Make sure to have downloaded the iPhone 3.0 beta firmware that relates to your iPhone (2G or 3G). Asegúrese de haber descargado el iPhone firmware 3.0 beta que se relaciona con su iPhone (2G o 3G).

Locate or browse to the firmware IPSW. Busque o vaya a la IPSW firmware.
Wait for iTunes to unpackage and install the firmware. Espere a que iTunes para desempaquetar e instalar el firmware.

Note : Attempting to do this upgrade on a unlocked iPhone can make it useless forever. Nota: El intento de hacer esta actualización en un iPhone desbloqueado puede hacer que sea inútil para siempre. iPod Touch users are pretty safe in this case as there is no question of baseband like iPhone but their is still a catch which I shall be mentioning further below. Note : Step-3 is optional for iPod Touch users but in case you decide not to get your UDID registered, you won't be able to Sync with iTunes. Please note that after upgrading to iPhone 3.0 beta, you might not be able to downgrade to firmware 2.2.1 later on so it is always a good choice to wait for the official release which is due in summer. I've been using the 3.0 sdk for since April 2nd and today my phone is in emergency mode. He estado usando la versión 3.0 SDK para desde 2 de abril y hoy mi teléfono está en modo de emergencia. However, one thing that I think that should be included is the reminder of "backing up" prior to the upgrade. I keep trying to download the file, but it isn'ta .ipsw file. Sigo tratando de descargar el archivo, pero no es. Ipsw. I am a dev member, can't the .ipsw file there, or anywhere else! The DL went very well and everything BUT YouTube and the picture messaging MMS works. El DL fue muy bien y todo, pero YouTube y los mensajes de imagen MMS obras. Not sure if it'll work once it's officially released. No está seguro de si funcionará una vez que es lanzado oficialmente.
