Later this Tuesday, Apple unveiled the the second beta release of its iPhone 3.0 OS to developers which introduces the Push Notifications and In-App purchases for which all developers have been longing for. Senare i tisdags presenterade Apple den andra betaversionen av iPhone 3.0 OS till utvecklare som inför Push Anmälningar och In-App inköp för vilka alla utvecklare har längtat efter. Apart from these new features, there is also a lot of improvements stability improvements and bug fixes. You dont have to pay for winrar... Du behöver inte betala för WinRAR ... Just use the free version. Använd bara den fria versionen. If that does not work try winace. Om det inte fungerar försöker WinAce. It will open winrar files. Det kommer att öppna winrar filer.

Upon extraction using WinRAR, the file had a DMG file extension. Vid extraktion med WinRAR, hade filen en DMG filtillägg. Doesn't an iPhone Software firmware end with .ipsw? Inte en iPhone Software firmware slutar med. Ipsw? If you have any additional information on how to properly use WinRAR--which is a shareware, by the way--to automatically combine all 3 parts and extract to one file, it would be nice if you can share it as well. Okay, so I have the filed downloaded? Okej, så jag har arkiverat ner? I'm such a noob. Jag är en sådan noob. I tried to combine the rar files and I get a .dmg file. I renamed the dmg file to a ipsw file but iTunes rejected it. Jag döpte den dmg-filen till en ipsw fil men iTunes förkastade det.

I'm guessing this isn't the same as the iPhone 3.0 Beta 1 file. Jag gissar det är inte samma sak som iPhone 3.0 Beta 1 fil.

I had the same problem. Jag hade samma problem. After some investigation I found that this .dmg file will only work for Macs. Efter en del undersökning fann jag att detta. Dmg filen bara fungerar för Mac. For Windows you will need to convert this dmg file to ipsw format. För Windows behöver du konvertera denna dmg filen till ipsw format. There is a program called TransMac which will convert to ipsw. Det finns ett program som heter TransMac som kommer att konvertera till ipsw. i used transmac (free download) Jag använde transmac (gratis nedladdning)
i opened the .dmg then found it in the list Jag öppnade. dmg sedan hittade den i listan
clicked the foleder inside it and found the .ipsw klickade foleder i den och hittade den. ipsw

@Gil - winrar is a free archiving tool - You can download it from @ Gil - winrar är en fri arkivering verktyg - Du kan ladda ner den från http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm . . Alright here is the solution to convert the .dmg file to a .ipsw. Alright är här lösningen att konvertera. Dmg-filen till en. Ipsw.

- Download the trial version of powerISO, do a search for it on google. - Ladda ner testversionen av PowerISO, gör en sökning efter den på google.
- Convert the .dmg file. - Konvertera. Dmg filen.
- Extract it to a location of you're choice and you will see the .ipsw file. - Extrahera den till en plats du valt och du kommer att se. Ipsw filen.
- Go to iTunes and do the usual upgrade process. - Gå till iTunes och göra den vanliga uppgraderingen.

It helps for sure but can someone please post the entire IPSW next time the way it was posted for the initial beta release?
