As June approaches closer, more and more rumors seem to be surfacing on the Internet about to the new iPhone which will supposedly be unveiled at the Worldwide Developers Conference this year by Apple.
The rumors started with leaked photos of the new iPhone, followed by some rumors on a Premium App Store.
Other rumors that made most of the buzz for the new iPhone included reports about a new model with better camera and video support, more storage memory and F.M. Radio support. But the rumors don't end there.
According to a forum poster at a Chinese forum, who claims to have gotten information from a friend who is working on a prototype of the new iPhone, the new iPhone will sport the following set of new hardware specs.
- 600MHz CPU Speed (up from 400Mhz)
- 256MB RAM (up from 128MB)
- Digital Compass and FM
- 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus
- 32GB size
Even though most of the Internet media is calling it as a minor upgrade, I personally sounds very major to me as it will allow users to experience a more powerful platform with better apps and games. Although no changes will be seen in the battery, casing and screen.
So considering that the hardware specs for the new iPhone are indeed genuine, would you dump your iPhone 3G for the new iPhone?
