    You're supposed to download from all 3 links into a folder (if you don't have Rapidshare, you'll have to wait 15 min. btwn downloading). Vous êtes censé le téléchargement de l'ensemble des 3 liens dans un dossier (si vous n'avez pas de Rapidshare, vous devrez attendre 15 min. BTWN téléchargement). You then extract just one of them to the same folder and it will use all 3 file for extraction. Tu extrais alors juste l'un d'eux dans le même dossier et il utilisera tous les fichiers 3 pour l'extraction. Open iTunes and hold Shift while clicking Resore and then click the file that has been extracted. Ouvrez iTunes et maintenez Maj enfoncée tout en cliquant Resore puis cliquez sur le fichier qui a été extraite. Simple computer skills.....thanks a lot to Saad Hamid for the post.     well it didnt work for me it said it wasnt compatible.     put all the downloaded files in folder and extract one of the file using winrar. mettre tous les fichiers téléchargés dans le dossier et d'extraire l'un des fichiers en utilisant WinRAR. then you will find one new sofware update file.then go to itunes press restore while holding shift and select the extracted file. alors vous trouverez un nouveau file.then mise à jour logicielle d'aller sous presse itunes restaurer tout en maintenant la touche maj et sélectionnez le fichier extrait.

    Thank you!! Merci! I've got a 1st generation Touch and wasnt gonna pay £6 for an update that hardly changes much for my ipod. J'ai une 1ère génération Touch and wasnt gonna payer £ 6 pour une mise à jour qui ne change pratiquement pas beaucoup pour mon ipod.

    Just make sure the 3.0 firmware you've downloaded and re-joined finishes with .ipsw and it should work perferctly for you too. Assurez-vous juste la version 3.0 du firmware que vous avez téléchargé et repartait se termine par. Ipsw perferctly et il devrait fonctionner pour vous aussi.

    you guys do things way to complicated. you guys façon de faire des choses compliquées. when you download it, just choose save as and save as an ipsw file... quand vous le télécharger, il suffit de choisir Enregistrer sous et enregistrez comme un ipsw fichier ... way easier, no joining. moyen plus simple, rejoignant no. THAT is simple computor skills. C'est simple compétences computor.

    The only restore I can find is if I right click on the device name and select "Restore from Backup..." La restauration que je puisse trouver, c'est si je clique droit sur le nom du périphérique et sélectionnez "Restaurer à partir de Backup ..." and then it brings up a menu that I can only select my ipod name and it says this will not restore ipod firmware. et puis il fait apparaître un menu que je ne peux choisir mon nom de l'iPod et il dit que ce ne sera pas restaurer le firmware d'iPod.
    So where is the restore button that lets me pick the new firmware? Alors où est le bouton "restaurer" qui me permet de choisir le nouveau firmware?

    @ Jed, had the same problem searching for it but i found it. @ Jed, avait le même problème de la recherche pour elle mais je l'ai trouvé.

    After connecting your iTouch to your computer and opening itunes, click on your iTouch icon, then when a screen that says "would you like to purchase the 3.0 firmware for $9.99", just press "no thanks" or "remind me later". Après avoir connecté votre iTouch à votre ordinateur et ouvrir iTunes, cliquez sur l'icône de votre iTouch, puis quand un écran qui dit "voulez-vous acheter le firmware 3.0 pour 9,99 $», appuyez simplement sur "non merci" ou "moi de rappeler plus tard». Then it should automatically go on the "summary" tab. Ensuite, il devrait automatiquement aller sur le "sommaire" onglet. Shaded in a gray should be the VERSION box, and under the "Update" button, you'll find the "Restore" button. Ombrage de gris doit être la case VERSION, et sous le bouton "Actualiser", vous trouverez le bouton "Restaurer".
