    You're supposed to download from all 3 links into a folder (if you don't have Rapidshare, you'll have to wait 15 min. btwn downloading). Si suppone che il download da tutti e 3 i collegamenti in una cartella (se non si dispone di Rapidshare, dovrete attendere 15 min. Btwn il download). You then extract just one of them to the same folder and it will use all 3 file for extraction. È quindi estrarre solo uno di loro nella stessa cartella, e userà tutti i file 3 per l'estrazione. Open iTunes and hold Shift while clicking Resore and then click the file that has been extracted. Aprire iTunes e tenere premuto Shift mentre si fa clic Resore e quindi fare clic sul file che è stato estratto. Simple computer skills.....thanks a lot to Saad Hamid for the post.     well it didnt work for me it said it wasnt compatible.     put all the downloaded files in folder and extract one of the file using winrar. mettere tutti i file scaricati nella cartella ed estrarre uno dei file con winrar. then you will find one new sofware update file.then go to itunes press restore while holding shift and select the extracted file. allora troverete uno file.then nuovo aggiornamento software iTunes andare a premere il ripristino tenendo premuto MAIUSC e selezionare il file estratto.

    Thank you!! Thank you! I've got a 1st generation Touch and wasnt gonna pay £6 for an update that hardly changes much for my ipod. Ho un Touch 1 ° generazione e wasnt gonna pagare £ 6 per un aggiornamento che difficilmente cambia molto per il mio iPod.

    Just make sure the 3.0 firmware you've downloaded and re-joined finishes with .ipsw and it should work perferctly for you too. Assicuratevi solo il 3.0 del firmware che hai scaricato e ri-si è iscritto con finiture. Ipsw e dovrebbe funzionare perferctly anche per te.

    you guys do things way to complicated. you guys modo di fare le cose complicate. when you download it, just choose save as and save as an ipsw file... quando si scarica, basta scegliere come salvare e salvare in un file ipsw ... way easier, no joining. modo più semplice, unendo no.     The only restore I can find is if I right click on the device name and select "Restore from Backup..." L'unica ripristino riesco a trovare è che se faccio clic destro sul nome della periferica e selezionare "Ripristina da backup ..." and then it brings up a menu that I can only select my ipod name and it says this will not restore ipod firmware. e poi si porta in su un menu che posso selezionare solo il mio nome ipod e dice che questo non servirà a ripristinare il firmware di iPod.
    So where is the restore button that lets me pick the new firmware? Allora, dove è il pulsante di ripristino che mi permette di scegliere il nuovo firmware?

    @ Jed, had the same problem searching for it but i found it. @ Jed, aveva lo stesso problema cercando, ma l'ho trovato.

    After connecting your iTouch to your computer and opening itunes, click on your iTouch icon, then when a screen that says "would you like to purchase the 3.0 firmware for $9.99", just press "no thanks" or "remind me later". Dopo aver collegato il vostro iTouch al computer e iTunes di apertura, fare clic sull'icona del vostro iTouch, poi, quando una schermata che dice "volete acquistare il firmware 3.0 per 9,99 dollari", premete semplicemente "no grazie" o "mi ricordano più tardi". Then it should automatically go on the "summary" tab. Allora dovrebbe automaticamente andare in sintesi "scheda". Shaded in a gray should be the VERSION box, and under the "Update" button, you'll find the "Restore" button.
