The new 27-inch iMac unveiled by Apple in October hasn’t been the most trouble-less device lately. From flash-video issues, to screen flickering, yellow-tint and cracked display issues, the new 27-inch iMac has seen all of it and until now Apple really doesn’t seem to care much about it.

However after a wait of almost two-months, Apple has finally addressed to all the issues in the 27-inch iMac by releasing a Graphics Firmware Update v1.0 which will supposedly fix everything related to the display such as flickering or image corruption.
Here is a description of the update as on Apple’s website:
Updates the graphics firmware on ATI Radeon HD 4670 and 4850 graphics cards to address issues that may cause image corruption or display flickering.
Although this update will not help those unfortunate users with a cracked or dead screen but will certainly prove beneficial to those who have been having performance and minor display issues with the new 27-inch iMac. The update is 680+ Kb in size and can be downloaded here.
