Namco, the company behind the famous classic arcade fighting game Tekken, has confirmed that the iPhone version of the game is already in its final development stages and will be available soon.

This brings a challenge to Capcom’s Street Fighter IV which has so far held a dominant position in the App Store. More of Namco’s plans for Tekken on iPhone will be revealed later.
The only question for now is whether the iPhone version of Tekken be a port of the original game or will be a variant of the PSP version? And soon we shall have our answers. Great news for all iPhone gamers out there. [via FoneHome]
