Finally! after all the wait, Apple has begun to accept pre-orders for the iPad at the online Apple Store, which shall then be officially be delivered to all customers on April 3.

For those willing to purchase one, the Wi-Fi models are available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB for a price of $499, $599 and $699 respectively. While the Wi-Fi + 3G models are available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB for a price of $629, $729 and $829 respectively (without the 3G data plan).

The Wi-Fi model shall be available to customers on April 3 while those planning to get the Wi-Fi + 3G will have to save their patience for late April to get their hands on the device. Below is a commercial of the iPad that was recently aired during the Oscars.

Apple gives you the option to either pre-order now for free shipping or reserve now to pick up the iPad from a nearby Apple retail store. There is a limitation of every person being able to order no more than two iPads so hurry up now, and pre-order one at the Apple Store.

Among other talks, we have a theory that the iPad will support Multitasking and a dashboard, do you buy it?
