Twitter made a drastic change as it updated the homepage, bringing in an all new look for the users. From now on, with affect from March 30, user's tweet will be tweeting in real-time. The outlook is presented on the main page of Twitter and you would notice the change while you are signed out. The live ticker which moves up as top tweets are tweetcasted inside the trending topics box. Mouse over the topic would explain the popular keyword on the site at the moment.
The magic and the fun which makes the page so special and updated is the middle rail where changes seem to occur in real time. The TopTweets are updated as fresh content pours in every other second. With companies and users already benefiting by the tweets they make, selling products, bringing in traffic to their sites, launch of products etc. Dell and Pepsi are the two ones who have made millions of dollars from Twitter.
While in the middle we see the real time tweets pouring in, on the left we are presented with an outlook of suggested Twitter users. Hovering over the pictures would reveal the profile summary and the latest tweet made by the user. If you wish to follow or learn more about the user, simply click the display image which would move to the profile page of the user.
Amongst the top suggested users which are usually displayed in the box include celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Barbara Walters, Larry King and so on. Users have been provided access due to which they can easily follow some great celebrities and tweets they make.
Just to keep one thing in mind, tweets which are selected and deemed important with quality material, would be displayed on the front page. Not all tweets done worldwide will be published.
