Mozilla, the intelligent firm behind the internet browser Firefox unveiled the latest edition in the family of browser compatibility. Firefox's mobile version better known as Fennec has brought in support for the Android handsets. Earlier, Fennec was launched for Nokia N900 in beta phase which is heard to be doing well. Seems like Mozilla is on the move as it launches support of the browser on any platform. The Android handset based browser rather on the early stage and not fully functional, it does prove to be doing well.

Fennec for Android, brings in the multiple tabs support to allow users to navigate and browse easily. Even though the browser lacks optimization, we still think Firefox can outperform others as the way it revolutionize the PC platform. Speed, reliability, features are the main choice which user eyes before installing any browser, specially on the handset. Firefox guarantees that the browser would lead in the Android market.
Fennec would not be the first one to enter the Android market as users already welcome the Opera, the leader in mobile browsing, to Android handsets. One thing which we eye makes Fennec different, Mozilla is a non-profit organization and does not think of revenue, while others do. But Fennec needs a lot of work to be done to enter the competition.
The first Android enabled mobile browser has been ported on the Motorola Milestone. Fennec for Android comes in a 41MB package, with the browser being in beta stage, it is not guaranteed that it would work on all Android based handsets. Porting the browser on Nexus One and Motorola Droid, saw little success.
