This comes in as a big surprise for all Apple fans out there but Apple is holding a media event on April 8th where it is set to showcase and preview features of the iPhone OS 4.0.
Apple has already sent the invites for the event to blogs and journalists labelled "sneak peek of the next generation of iPhone OS software". It comes as big shocker as the iPad has been stealing the spotlight for a while and it has been only 2 days since the iPad was officially launched in the US.
For now we only have reports on some leaked features in iPhone OS 4.0 along with some speculation that it will support multitasking. No more guesses! as April 8th is the day when we shall find answers to all our questions.
