Interestingly! Apple isn't the only one planning to hold an event this April. Engadget claims to have received an invitation for a mystery event by Microsoft on April 12th.

"It's time to share" is all what the event invitation has to say. The speculation says that Microsoft will be taking the curtain off of one of it's secret projects; The Pink or The Courier. More sources seem to indicate that the event will showcase the new Microsoft branded phones code-named Pure and Turtle.

The devices, code-named Pure and Turtle, are both slider phones, each with a touch screen and keyboard, a source told CNET. In the U.S., the devices will run on Verizon Wireless' network and go on sale within the month following the event.

That's all what we know for now. Although we love the Courier but we just don't see Microsoft working a tablet right now, especially when the iPad has literally blown out the market. For the dreamy heads, they can do with the Windows 7 Phone Concept Tablet for now.
