A couple of days ago we reported about Microsoft working hard to push the Firmware 4.5 for Zune HD and the latest news tells us that the update is now live and available.
This update brings a lot of new features to the Zune experience such as Smart DJ mix, personalized recommendations, support for Marketplace for TV, and multiple codec support. Below is a list of the features in detail:
- Zune has added the support for XviD and the AVI container, which brings in great access to the video content available all around the web.
- Zune gets powered up with the Smart DJ Mix feature, which creates an autoplaylist automatically from the chosen songs.
- Marketplace browsing via Zune Dock.
The Zune users simply need to hook up their Zune HD to the Zune PC software, check out Settings, and Update the firmware.
