You must have heard about the powerful HTC Evo 4G device that was announced back in March at the CTIA event. Ever since its announcement, people have been wondering about the arrival date for this powerful gadget.

Well! it seems that their question has finally been  answered. According to the details shared by Engadget and its sources; the device is expected to go for sale in June.

13 June is the exact date. To put more weight to this speculation, it is reported that the release date for HTC EVO 4G has been a talking subject for the higher level folks at Sprint. The device is expected to go live for pre-sale at Best Buy in the month of May. The reports of Best Buy employees being trained for the device is what has led to this news.

Of course the most important question here is this, will you buy the device once it becomes available? Do let us know via the comments.

I've been a Sprint customer for just over two years. I've been looking to upgrade from my blackberry pearl for some time. I have been jones'n for this phone since the January rumors of the htc supersonic – now officially the htc evo. This phone will instantly be the best phone on the market and with the processor speed along with the dual cameras and all other specs will be on the top of the superphone tech heap for quite some time. Go HTC! Go Android! and Kudos to Sprint for getting this phone to the masses early summer! Long story short: I will be pre-ordering this phone the first chance I get!!

I'm buying it! I have the Palm Pre and I know I will have to give up a lot when switching to Android, but some newer, different features available from the latest version of Sense are good enough to ease the switch.

OMG!! What a great phone, on a super fast and very reliable network !! Sprint has really turned itself around. Great products, world class service and the fastest network in the game now!! I'm glad I stuck with them over the years.

hell yea im gonna buy it. iv had my htc touch pro just over a year now and am eligible for an upgrade. my phone broke a couple of weeks ago and i have still yet to get a replacement. sprint wants me to use my upgrade to get a new phone (i cant claim anymore replacement w/ my insurance) but i would rather suffer w/out a phone than not get a discount for the evo. gonna buy a pre on ebay until then…im gonna want a windows phone 7 device when that comes out but cant get another upgrade until a year after the evo…hopefully htc will come out with a slider windows phone by then

To me I do highly recommend this phone from what I know about it.I have the sanyo incognito and love it but htc is a very good company.I may upgrade. This is like an Iphone or Droid for Sprint but 10x better because of the 4G network.Verizon is defintatley the best dealer and the Droid is at a very cheap price. It all depends on what the price is for this phone. If expensive thumbs down.If around $250 with a upgrade this phone should do good.AT&T is the WORST dealer imaginable. My best bet.The HTC Evo 4G won't do to good because Sprint isn't that cheap when it comes to the price of their phones.Best of Luck!!!!!
