Apple Launches New Updated Macbook Pro Family

A couple of days ago we posted on a rumor that suggested that Apple might be preparing to launch an updated line-up of new Macbook Pro on 13th April and it gives us pleasure to reveal that Apple has now officially updated the Macbook Pro Family.

As expected, the new 15-inch and 17-inch Macbook Pro models have been updated with Intel's Core i5 and i7 processors which provide better performance and a better battery life.

The new Macbook Pro models now come with a standard RAM at 4 GB which can be upgraded to 8 GB at an additional cost of $400. As for the graphics, they are now powered by a Nvidia GeForce GT 330M with 256MB of memory.

That's not all. The new 15-inch Macbook Pro model now comes with a glossy, hi-res glossy and a high-res antiglare widescreen display to choose from.

Apple claims that all new models now come with a battery-life of up to 10 hours straight on a single charge. The 13-inch model costs at US $1199, while the 15-inch and 17-inch are priced at $1799 and $2299 respectively.
