The iPhone 4.0 sneak peek has had the iPhone world pretty excited for all the right reasons. Here is another reason for you to look forward to the next update of iPhone. The 4.0 version of iPhone OS besides bringing the amazing mulitasking capability and other cool features will also bring an end to one annoying feature that has been part of the iPhone firmware since the introduction of iPhone 2.2. It is none other than the annoying rate on delete prompt.

This disturbing prompt as the name implies appears each time you delete an app asking you to rate the experience you had with the app. The purpose behind its introduction was to increase the feedback ratings in the App Store which from the very offset didn't look promising to me. The reason is a pretty simple one. If a person is deleting a certain app, the chances of him giving a five star rating to the app are pretty slim.
This very concern was voiced by the developers themselves as it had a negative impact on their app rating. Thankfully, this little annoyance is coming to an end.
