Boy you just can't have enough of Tablet news for a day. This time, we won't be talking about an iPad Tablet for a change. A startup tablet designer named Kakai has announced that it will be unveiling its dual screen tablet on 2nd June at the D8 conference.

The dual screen tablet will be powered by Linux. Unfortunately, not a lot has been said about the device in terms of specifications. But what we hear is that it is targeted towards students and is a hybrid device that will perform roles of an ebook reader as well as a note taking device with both audio and visual support.

The tablet has been in the works for a period of 1 year and has been kept as a secret project, something you would have already guessed due to lack of tablet specs. Again it comes down to how it will perform against the magical Tablet from Apple. Any guesses or predictions from your side?

Besides announcing the tablet announcement today, the designer also changed its name to Kno may be for bringing luck for the dual screen tablet.
