The title of the post says it all. In fact the plans of Chinese carrier selling the jailbroken iPhone 4 and iPad 3G is something that you wouldn't have thought of even in your dreams.

Mind you this is not a rumor. This surprise filled news come via a Chinese citizen who got sight of the advertising banner which had the magical term Jailbreak written on it. Jailbreak is part of the list of services which China Unicomm will provide. Besides jailbreaking , the carrier will also do SIM Trimming for you and will load your iPhone 4 / iPad 3G with apps from Cydia. A free iPhone 4 case will be provided with every stainless steel phone purchase. All of this free stuff makes the decision of not purchasing iPhone 4 / iPad 3G all the more difficult.
What surprises me here is the fact that China Unicom are the official Apple carriers in China and the Cupertinos, if you remember still doesn’t approve of jailbroken iDevices. What will happen next is the question that arises in my mind. Care to answer it for me?
