Sony Unveils 3D Laptop at IFA – Coming Early 2011

Recently after reporting the release of HP Envy 17 3D Laptop, I was wondering that how much time would other competitors take in releasing their baby to bring tough time for the tech giant.

Leader in the market as well as happy was what HP considered itself until a few hours back Sony announced its part of the share for the 3D Laptop market. We are sure that Sony wouldn't have faced any problem in launching the product but we rather consider it a bit late, after claiming to be first in the line of 3D Televisions.

Sony announced plans to release the 3D laptop by 2011 which would contain almost all the 3D capabilities. Cnet broke the news to the public after it was a prototype was spotted at the IFA conference in Berlin. According to an official word, the company plans to launch the product in Spring of 2011.

The company plans to follow the same pattern and bring the 3D laptop under the VAIO family. The laptop would be same in design and features, the way VAIO is, strong and powerful. What the laptop would have in addition is the 3D button, which when pressed would transform the 2D picture into 3D.

Sony's 3D Laptop would come with the shutter glasses which according to some would be the same as the glasses provided with its Bravia 3D TV. On the other hand it is also told that the laptop would feature Blu-ray player would mass storage facility to store high quality data.
