I have said it before and I will dare say it again – there is a happy mood in the Apple headquarters and it is for a reason - their latest iteration of iPhone, iPhone 4 is going to land in China which if you don’t know is the largest cell phone market around the globe. 25th September is the date which will see the stainless steel phone hit the retail stores in China.

The iPhone 4 launch date will also serve as the launch pad for two new Chinese based Apple Stores Hong Kong Plaza in Shanghai and the Xidan Joy City in Beijing. This takes their tally to four but bear in mind they won’t be resting just yet as they plan to take that count to 25 by 2012.
Here are the essential pricing details:
iPhone 4 will be sold in China through Apple’s retail stores for a suggested retail price of CNY4,999 for the 16GB model and CNY5,999 for 32GB model without a contract. At China Unicom stores, iPhone 4 will be available for qualified buyers with a new two year contract, sold separately. For pricing and tariff information please visit www.10010.com
In case you forgot, iPhone 4 has a 5 MP camera with LED Flash, does HD video recording and who can forget the video chatting protocol FaceTime. On top of that it is the thinnest smartphone in the world.
