DOS Emulator for iPad and iPhone approved by Apple

Well Well, what do we have here! Its a brand new iOS app, which runs programs that were written originally for the super hit outdated operating system from Microsoft, the signature DOS. This app is called iDos and it runs programs for DOS that were written around the 80's and 90's, these include a plethora of classic PC games.

Sneaking behind the curtain, we find out that iDOS is based upon a spectacular emulator for Windows, Mac and Linux computers alike, the DOSBox. The fact that it may have quite a number of uses is certainly debatable, but what by large would be the most popular, would be the ability to play classic computer games, the likes of Wing Commander, Computer Tetris or King's Quest, which can not be played on the uber-developed computers of today. Apple has previously shown a great amount of reluctance in approving emulators to be featured in the App Store, but as the admission rules have been relaxed to an extent, some emulators have made it to the App Store.

Accompanying iDOS are the playable versions of Ms. Pac Man and Dig Dug, with the actual app running low on included programs or tutorials. Other applications and games can be installed, but would require a specific amount of DOS know how, besides the fact that users are on their own to figure it out.

What is most surprising in this is that DOS is the property of Microsoft, which is an arch rival to Apple. How Apple approved this emulator, albeit for a very small period of time, confuses us all. Shortly after it was approved, iDOS was pulled out of the App Store.
