If you live in Canada and own a Xbox 360 or plan to purchase the newly launched Windows Phone 7 device, then you are in for a treat. Netflix has opened the flood gates of instant streaming capability for their Canadian users.
Here's what the Canadian users need to have if they want to watch a handful of movies and TV shows streamed instantly to their television set via their sensational gaming gadget:
A Netflix membership, a broadband internet connection and an Xbox LIVE Gold membership.
Coming to the smartphone side of things, if you live in US or Canada and plan to purchase a Windows Phone 7 device then you can enjoy Netflix streaming even on your Windows Phone handset. For this to happen, you of course need to have the Netflix app up and running on your handset. The app is available for a free download from the Marketplace Video Store.
While the news of Netflix's Windows Phone 7 native app going live is all good, Android users will definitely be wondering why the hell are we left out from the Netflix mobile app party. This is a question which only the Netflix officials can answer.
