Well this was amazingly fast! Minutes earlier we'd told you that Facebook was down for many users across the globe apparently because of the new Brand Pages. However now, the social network is up online again after being disabled for painstaking period of time, at least for those who live their lives on Facebook. The company initially apologized through Twitter and later on went to post the update on its, well, Facebook page.

Shortly after this much awaited update, Facebook also tweeted the reason behind the unannounced outage, which had undoubtedly irked hundreds of users all around the world. The explanation was that:

The company's Facebook page says:
For a brief period of time, some internal prototypes were accidentally exposed to people externally. As a result, we disabled the site for a few minutes. It’s back up, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
This is evidence enough to comprehend that something indeed had gone wrong over at Facebook which presented users with a glimpse of what the service has in store for them, however they still were features which were not meant for the users to see just yet. However the issue has been resolved and the people's favorite social network is back up again for them to use.
