Dropbox has been around for quite some time now and it is for sure loved by people who feel the need to sync their important data across multiple computers and devices, what was exciting about Dropbox is the fact that it offers a handsome storage of 2GB and best of all, it is free! However as sky is the limit, this storage is easily expandable through promotions and recommendations.

However, what may come as a surprise to many people is that the Dropbox service wasn’t even version 1.0, although its awesomeness wouldn’t have made people worry about that. Nevertheless, Dropbox has come out with their first ever whole point release which adds vital improvements, particularly Selective Folder Sync.
One might ask, what exactly is Selective Sync? It will allow the user to select which folders and files within their Dropbox get synced across other computers, and this can be moderated through each the respective control panel of each computer. So Selective Sync will definitely make it easier for users to manage their data files as well as media across different computers.
Other general improvements in version 1.0 of Dropbox include a plethora of bug fixes, up to 50% reduced resource usage in memory alone, and some nice interface updates to compliment the user.
Dropbox, now version 1.0, can be easily downloaded from here.
