It all started with controllers, then they became Wireless. In the end came Kinect. We all know by using Kinect your whole body can act as a controller but story doesn’t ends here. CES 2011 at Las Vegas had something better to reveal.

Waterloo labs introduced a prototype of a controller that uses your eyeballs movements to control graphics and play games. It doesn’t even require you to move.
It was demonstrated by attaching few electrodes to the skin near a person’s eyes. These electrodes were then connected to a motherboard that controlled TV. This technology is based on fact of polarization of one’s eyes. With positive in front and negative in back, eyes create voltages. Certain voltage is created depending on where you look. This is then translated to moving graphics on screen.
There are only simple games available. The first one is Dance Dance Revolution which uses this technology. We hope to see this technology available for consumers as soon as possible.
This video linked below demonstrates how it all works.
