Apple Support Profile Website Launched Making Troubleshooting Easier

Apple has now introduced the new Apple Support Profile Website, through which it will be easier for consumers to get technical support for their Apple products. By accessing the site, users can easily check the registration and warranty status of all of their Apple devices, and if someone has a repair or support issue in progress, Apple’s records about the issue can be reviewed straight from the browser itself.

There are no separate signup procedures to log into the Apple Support Profile site, simply use the same username and password that you use in the iTunes store or what’s commonly known as your Apple ID. Apple will display all of the computers they already know about once you sign in, however if your profile is not showing all of the devices you’ve previously had, below these entries you’ll find a link to manually register more equipment. The Apple Support Profile site will also auto-detect the serial number of the Mac that you will use to access the site, although it can’t do the same for iOS devices.

Apple has also included an option called VoicePass for US and Canadian customers, which claims to match your profile to your phone numbers, so that Apple has all your computer information at fingertips when you call from those numbers, and you even get to update the numbers that you want Apple to match your profile with. Customers in the United States also have the option of receiving text messages with status updates.

It’s quite useful to have all your computer information organized in one place, whether or not you’re troubleshooting your Apple device, which in turn is adding a whole new dimension to the Support line calling experience. Do check out the Apple Support Profile site.
