Following speculations that News Corp. is all set to reveal the iPad only newspaper, The Daily, on January 19, 2011, it is now being said that Apple CEO Steve Jobs will join Rupert Murdoch on stage at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art to reveal iPad newspaper, The Cutline reports.

As of now, the date for the said event is January 19, however it is subject to change as neither Apple nor News Corp. have officially confirmed that the event is happening on that date.

As previously mentioned, The Daily is going to be exclusive for the iPad as it will not have any web or print edition, and will only be delivered straight to the iPad. Each edition of The Daily will cost $0.99. It is also being said that Apple has taken great care to deliver a seamless delivery experience for The Daily, whereas News Corp. has seemingly hired 100 journalists just for this venture, something which depicts that both of these companies are dead serious about this project.

Regardless of all the serious pre-planning, it still remains to be seen whether or not The Daily is able to carve a niche of its own and redefine journalism at least on tablet devices. Do let us know in your comments what you think might become of the iPad exclusive newspaper, called The Daily.
