Earlier today Apple seeded iOS 4.3 Beta 2 build 8F5153d for those enrolled in the iPhone Developer Standard or Enterprise Program and as promised, we are following up on the full coverage related to the latest beta release. In this post, we shall see what are the new developments brought forward by iOS 4.3 Beta 2.

The major development in Beta 2 is the confirmation from Apple that it will not be including multitasking gestures for iPad in the final release of iOS 4.3, but however, it has encouraged developers to test them on their apps. It is also unclear that even after iOS 4.3 has been released, will developers still be able to activate these features via Xcode.

Regarding multitasking gestures, Apple says in the iOS 4.3 Beta 2 release notes:
This beta release contains a preview of new multitasking gestures for iPad. You can use four or five fingers to pinch to the Home Screen, swipe up to reveal the multitasking bar, and swipe left or right between apps. This feature will not be enabled in iOS 4.3 for customers, but we are providing this preview to gather input on how these gestures work with your apps
And as far as all the information received as yet, no major new features have come with Beta 2, however the release notes make this clarification regarding multitasking gestures in time as the general public was definitely excited about trying the multitasking gestures feature on their iPads as well.
Stay tuned for more, as we will definitely update when any new development comes in.
