Earlier today we had reported when Apple seeded iOS 4.3 Beta 2 and while there have been no significant changes other than Apple’s clarification that it will not be including multitasking gestures for iPad in the final release of iOS 4.3, a report published on 9to5mac claims that Apple is planning to bring Photo and Media Streaming to its iOS devices, more on that after the break.

Apparently, they’ve dug deep into the iOS 4.3 Beta 2’s file system and found a new folder by the name of Media Stream, which gives rise to these claims, and from what has been described, Media Stream is going to be one awesome feature.
The report says:
Hidden deep in the iOS 4.3 file system is a new folder titled "Media Stream." Within that folder is some information about "Photo Streaming." From the looks of different alerts and plists, it appears that Apple will let iPhone users set up "Photo Streams" that friends could "subscribe" to. Also, it looks like there will be some privacy preferences related to this, so you can choose who is allowed to view your "Streams."
With Photo Streams, you will also be allowed to "invite" other users to view your pictures as you take them and upload them to a service. This service looks like it is connected to MobileMe, and we speculate that "Media Stream" can be directly connected to "Find my Friends."

However, they have also said that it is probably that these Media Stream features might not be rolled out until iOS 5 considering the fact that the folder is hidden so deeply in iOS 4.3 Beta 2. Nevertheless, we will definitely report when we hear more about Media Stream, or anything in particular about the iOS 4.3 Beta 2.
