It looks like Apple is really focused on the software side of things as well. Amidst scores of rumors regarding the next generation iOS devices, it is pretty noticeable that new iOS and OS X version updates are shipping approximately once a week. In the last week alone, Apple seeded iOS 4.2.6 for the Verizon CDMA iPhone 4 and the iOS 4.3 Beta 3. Today, Apple has seeded Mac OS X 10.6.7 Build 10J850 to developers for testing.

Those familiar with the new build would know that Apple wants developers to specifically focus their testing on Mac App Store, AirPort, Bonjour, SMB, and Graphics Drivers. No known issues have been listed in the Build 10J850 release documentation.
Obviously, it can not be said for sure when Mac OS X 10.6.7 goes gold for the public as Apple’s development cycles are highly unpredictable. However, With the kind of intensity that is being shown, it can be assumed that a release can not be that far off.
