While a video surfaced on the internet which shows the Verizon iPhone 4 delivered to one lucky chap on February 5, majority of the Verizon Wireless subscribers would have to wait for three more days till the February 10 general release date arrives, because as you already know by now, the Verizon iPhone 4 pre-orders have been sold out. However, one major question that is likely to be in everyones mind right now is that whether or not the CDMA based iPhone 4 running iOS 4.2.6 is jailbreakable? Well, it probably might be.
A few hours back, iPhone hacking maestro pod2g, famous for the GreenPois0n exploit, asked in tweet that whether or not the latest version of GreenPois0n was compatible with the new hardware, that is the Verizon iPhone 4.
Later, while receiving several replies from people willing to test, it seems that it may now be possible to jailbreak Verizon iPhone 4 using GreenPois0n RC5 and even a later build which most probably is GreenPois0n RC6.
However, it should be kept in mind that this has not been officially confirmed as yet while there seems to be no logical explanation for the probability of these testers to actually lie about the ability of GreenPois0n to jailbreak Verizon iPhone 4.
