Folks over at iFixit have got their hands on a brand new CDMA based Verizon iPhone 4 and they've begun tearing it down. Let us see what they've got to tell us, after the break.

Well for one, on the back there's a minute chage as Apple has removed the visual warning to not throw your iPhone 4 in the trash. Now, about the radio chip, it looks like the Verizon iPhone 4 has a Qualcomm MDM6600 chip that supports HSPA+ and CDMA2000.

This is the same chipset as the Droid Pro world phone. It supports both GSM and CDMA—which means that Apple could have supported GSM!
If GSM could have been supported, why wasn't it? well here's why:
Why didn't they? It may be that it was easier to design antennas for a CDMA-only phone -- this phone supports two cellular frequency bands, while Apple supports five bands in the GSM version.
They also tell that the Vibrator has been completely moved and redesigned.
Our tests show vibrator has quieter, softer feel, and makes a better sound when on a table
Stay tuned as we shall update when new findings are reported once the teardown is complete.
