Things are heating up in the jailbreaking arena. While we know that kernel based GreenPois0n untethered exploit was closed by Apple when it seeded iOS 4.3 Beta 3, The iPhone Dev-Team is currently working to port the Monte jailbreak technique that Redsn0w uses, for iOS 4.3

MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev-Team has revealed this via a Twitter update.

Being pretty self explanatory, it has been said that the team intends to make the Monte jailbreak technique work with the yet to be released iOS 4.3. However, do keep in mind that Redsn0w requires you to have SHSH blobs saved, so its probably time to save 4.1 and 4.2.1 SHSH blobs using TinyUmbrella, Cydia or iSHSHit.

Obviously, we still have to wait for either comex or pod2g to come up with an untethered jaibreak exploit for iOS 4.3.

Stay tuned as we shall definitely update when more news comes in.

Great to see that the fate of the jailbreaking community rests solely on the shoulders of pod2g and comex. Does that mean that if anything should happen to our erstwhile duo, we’re in the cold until another prodigious pair should happen along?
