Well it looks like the Verizon iPhone 4 is vulnerable to the Limera1n bootrom exploit after all as well as the kernel based untethered GreenPois0n exploit. The end result: You can now jailbreak your Verizon iPhone 4 running iOS 4.2.6 using GreenPois0n RC5.4
The news came in the form of a Twitter update by John Sibiga, who had tested GreenPois0n RC5.4 and had already jailbroken his Verizon iPhone 4 using that very tool. He posted this image as proof.
While GreenPois0n RC5.4 is out now and available for download, don't worry as the procedure to achieve an untethered jailbreak on your CDMA based Verizon iPhone 4 is same as the procedure we posted earlier for jailbreaking iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 using GreenPois0n RC5.
