We are nearing the end of February and this is exactly the time where one would expect the rumor mill to produce speculations regarding a possible iPad 2 announcement date. Kara Swisher, of AllThingsD is the latest to join the iPad 2 rumor camp. According to Swisher, Apple will be unveiling to the world its next generation of iPad come 2nd March, which happens to be a Wednesday, dismissing earlier reports that the iPad 2 launch was slated for the first or second Saturday of April.
As always the sources are unnamed and are described as people familiar with the matter. The iPad 2 launch event will take place in San Francisco with Yerba Beuna Arts Center providing the launching pad.
These last 24 hours have been what could be described as a wild iPad 2 rumor day since the iPad loving universe earlier had to hear the unsettling rumor of Apple delaying the iPad 2 launch till June. It’s speculations like these which makes a person wonder which route should he or she choose.
