Close Up Of The “Thunderbolt” (Light Peak) Port On The New Apple MacBook Pro 13

Today the internet is abuzz with shots claiming confirmed specs of the new 13" MacBook Pro while revealing that Apple will be incorporating Light Peak, its high speed connection technology, into the new MacBook Pros, under the name of "Thunderbolt". While these specs are legitimate only for the new MacBook Pro 13, we have yet to see the specs of the mid-range as well as the high end new MacBook Pros as well. That aside, "Thunderbolt" is definitely intriguing and Mac4Ever has posted a close up shot of what is believed to be the "Thunderbolt" port on the new MacBook Pro 13.

The close up shot posted above is believed to be the Thunderbolt/DisplayPort hybrid port on the new MacBook Pro 13.

On the other hand, Intel is also expected to launch Light Peak this Thursday, the same day these new MacBook Pros are expected to be released by Apple.
