Following the upcoming iPad 2 launch event, Best Buy has changed the status of the iPad in its inventory to "deleted," claims Macrumors.
This comes after a recent development in which Apple has cut off supplies of the iPad to all resellers ahead of the launch event. So this just might be one of the reasons why Best Buy has transitioned the status of the original iPad to "deleted."
However, this aside, there is no official word as yet on the availability of the iPad 2, although it has been rumoured that Apple plans to surprise us with "near immediate" availability of iPad 2.
