The world awaits the iPad 2 launch event tomorrow. While yes, the long awaited iPad 2 is going to be unveiled, the previously rumoured MobileMe revamp may be announced as well, claims a CultofMac report. Apple discontinued MobileMe retail box and removed it from online store last week.
The site's source tells them the following:
● MobileMe is being revamped with cloud storage features.
● The iPad 2 is a ho-hum update. It’s more of a speed bump than a redesign.
● The iPad 3 is the one to get excited about, and it’s on track for release later this year.
The anonymous source also said that now, the MobileMe service will also store music, TV shows, and films which have been purchased from the iTunes store. While word has been going around Apple campus that you will be able to upload your music and videos to the cloud using MobileMe, the source can not confirm this as of now.
